Description
Little Genius is a pack of four educational games written by Steve Pittman. These games are designed for children up to the age of 10 and encourage logical thinking, memory, communication and fun with words!
Maths Adventurer gives you the chance to play a hero in a vast maze, killing guardians and collecting gold before making your escape. There's a problem though - each type of guardian asks a different type of question. Will It be adding? Subtracting? Or... MULTIPLYING ?! You must guide the hero around the maze collecting as much gold as possible whilst trying not to let the guards kill you with their maths questions. Some doors are locked so you must find the key, but where is it? And which is the way back?
Pictures is a highly versatile art package. Using a day and night scene, you can select a sprite from a selection covering two scenes. Such flexibility gives you the opportunity to create active landscapes without art needing any skills at all - you can have polar bears walking on houses and dinosaurs walking on the moon! In fact you can have almost any scene you want - all it takes is a little imagination.
Money Machine is the ideal way for kids to get to grips with money as well as providing simple tests on addition and subtraction. Money Machine is split Into several parts, the final part ls a shop sequence where people buy toys and you have to give them the correct change by selecting the correct coins you would give them.
Jumble. The computer will select a well-known word (or group of words) and Jumble the letters up. By using either the joystick or cursor keys (as in all programs In this compilation), you must re-arrange the jumble of letters back Into the original word. The two difficulty levels here give both kids and parents a run for their money!
