Trivia
It so happened that I recently started writing programs on IBM under Windows. I don't think I need to explain to you what Windows is and where it comes from. What fascinated me most about this system was the consistent graphical environment and the ease of creating even very complex programs in it.
You may ask what does this volume have to do with the SAM paper? Well, there is, and quite a lot of it. Access to IBM will force me to write several programs for converting e.g. images. This means that if you have my program (you can see its advertisements in the ADVERTISEMENT section) and medium access to IBM, you can have any image from ANY computer. It doesn't matter whether it is IBM, Amiga or Apple. There are programs on IBM for converting image formats from other computers (e.g. GWS). Converting to IBM and then using my program has the advantage that you can, for example, transfer images from Amiga displayed in HAM mode (so far, no SAM program allows this). I have recently been creating animations using Ray Tracing on IBM. If you've seen the SAM Juggler demo, you know what I mean.
Then I transfer them with my program... In a month you will see one of such animations. Next month you will read how you can achieve a resolution of 512x384 on your SAM. The program I offer also supports this display method. In this month's disk you will find an interesting program called "life. His description is in himself in the lines of the commentary. To run, you need to load it and then press the F4 key. That's it, hello! M.A.R.S.
I don't really know what's going on with me this month. I really didn't want to start making the magazine because I didn't have much good materials. Well, when Rafał sent his articles, I decided that it was at least late for issue 11 and I started working hard.
Personally, I don't like this number very much. I wanted to include some other things in it, but I couldn't make it in time (you know, work and all that). "But next month it's BOMB!" After all, the 12th issue is coming out for free, but you'll have to come for it! "two disks or pay for an additional diskette". What will be on it? A secret (I don't think we in the editorial office have any specific plans yet).
In this issue you can read about the effects of my struggles with the E-Tracker program. It took me a lot of time, but I can finally make him play what I want. In addition, Rafał has completed the series of articles about Master Basic and the disk (but outside the main menu) there is a program with several procedures demonstrating the superiority of the new version over the old Basic. Of course, this program will only be run by people who have Master Basic. I am pleased to inform you that something is finally happening with SAM in Bajtek.
I wrote an article about this computer for a special issue, which is to be published in December (and will probably be published in January), and a few articles for subsequent issues of Bajtek. Now I have a serious offer for everyone interested in distributing my magazine. I will gladly sign a contract with anyone who would like and be able to legally distribute my magazine. You can do it too - if you know several SAM ib members If you can sell my magazine to them, it will be great. Of course, the SAM Paper editorial team gives a commission (quite high! ) on each sold item. If you are interested in this, write or call me: <redacted>
Right away, I need someone from southern Poland. If you decide to do so, please also write down how many (approximately) people would buy the magazine you distribute monthly. I am even interested in those people who would be able to sell at least one copy. . !If you are resourceful, you can make good money! ”I guess that's it for this time. See you in a month
