Trivia
Hello! You have in your hands (or actually in front of your eyes) another issue of SAM paper. I should now write about what is in it, but I would rather write about what will be. The most important information - I already have SC_Ass II (512/256). As soon as I fully figure it out, I promise to write a comprehensive article about it. Let me just say that the changes introduced are fantastic (e.g. 9 sources of source text instead of 3). In the next issue I will start a series of articles about MasterBasic - an overlay that increases SAM's so many capabilities.
There is also good news for players - as soon as I receive a few more games, I will immediately start writing an article about games on SAM (it has to be an article, as you probably already know, writing a show to a game on SAM). is not always easy). Moreover, the review of SC_Filer - a database already at the level of better databases from CP/M (that's praise...). You may ask why these things are not in this issue. There is one answer - high school leaving exams and studies. While I have already passed my high school final exams (quite, quite), I still have my university entrance exam ahead of me (probably when you read this text, it will all be over).
Now a small appeal. The latest versions of SAM have a clock of 6.5 MHz. Everything would be beautiful, if not for the fact that a large number of programs with SAM at 6 MHz do not want to run at 6.5 MHz and vice versa. This is mainly due to software mismatch, so I appeal to you to check whether your products work on all versions of SAM. It would be stupid if the situation with Amiga was repeated on SAM, i.e. each new version eliminated a large part of the software from old versions of Amiga.
Remember that the measure of a software creator's professionalism is the adaptation of his programs to any work environment. I think that SAM, as a computer that is just creating its history, has a good chance of avoiding the mistakes known from previous computers. That's it.
Hi M.A.R.S.!
I would also like to welcome you to a slightly changed atmosphere. First of all, I have already finished my secondary school leaving exams and university entrance exams. I don't know yet whether I got in, but I'm optimistic (the results will be announced today).
As you can probably see (only those who purchased SAM Paper legally) I made corporate labels for the disks. It cost me some nerves, but I finally made it.
After all, the most important thing is for the magazine to look good. Tell us what you think about it. We will try to do everything to please you.
Now all I can do is wish pleasant and successful holidays to those who have them. See you in a month.
