Confirming cap values for Sam Coupe Motherboard Submitted by SamCoupeAlg on Sat, 11/04/2023 - 21:52 I'm recapping the Sam Coupe's MB and I need some help confirming the correct values for C36, C37 and C38. Some places say it is 47uF and others 22uF. Thanks PauloA Log in or register to post comments On all the boards I've seen Dan Dooré Mon, 11/06/2023 - 11:53 all three (the RGB output lines) as 22uF as per Replacement Parts List although the Velesoft schematic has them at 47uF (https://velesoft.speccy.cz/samcoupe/sam-schematic/samcoupe-orginal-schematic-mid-color.png) but that might be a variance either based on George's own unit or corrections made by him. Ultimately they feed the encoder for the composite/RF output which really shouldn't be used in this day and age so if using RGB Scart or SAM HDMI it won't really matter ;-) Log in or register to post comments Thanks SamCoupeAlg Mon, 11/06/2023 - 11:59 In reply to On all the boards I've seen by Dan DooréI'll replace them with the 22uF that the MB had originally since I'll be using the SAM HDMI.
